As the son of a retired US Navy Captain, I was raised in coastal communities my entire life. I spent many of my younger years catching waves in Sandbridge, Croatan, and boating on the waters of the North Landing River. I am a seasoned captain, having taken the helm of my first ski boat at age 15. Combining two of my most influential past times - surfing and boating - became possible thanks to the advancements in wakeboats over the last 10+ years. I took ownership of our custom Malibu/Axis A22 in April of 2022 and have spent every possible moment on the water with friends and family. WAKEVA is an opportunity to share my love for wakesurfing and wakeboarding with the local community while providing a way for everyone to feel engaged in the conservation and preservation of Virginia's watersheds through our online retail shop.
